👍🏼👍🏼nice
Awesome! I thought you would come up with an idea of an arcade game and build the control panel for it, but.... THIS IS AWESOME
Since when do you need your wife's "foregiveness" for spending the money that YOU earned?
Any update on the machine?
This video is still awesome 12 years later
i know this was 12 years ago, but hopefully you eventually told your wife, "I'm buying this arcade machine because I want it. if you dont like it, go cry in your shoe closet."
The the tv have a vga input?
nope, but you can use adaptator and modified graphic card.
Can you make more videos please
that shape of the cabinet is really sexy and smooth :D
As a gamer wife of 15 years. I can tell you I still um and arr about purchasing an arcade cabinet. But fortunately I have a husband who loves retro gaming like me. But he is very much the same. If it's in our lounge it needs to fit the furniture.
Beautiful looking cabinet ! The shape is stylish and the stained wood finish us 👍
You're the dad I always wanted. I will say my dad played video games but was more of a workaholic and never came home.
Hi.... HOW big is the sheet of plywood......... bigger than 4x8.............. thanks
if you ignored your wife and put decals and a bit more into the budget you would be able to sell this for way more than you spent
Might do something like this with a desk top arcade machine I picked up. Instead of using the regular tube I might just put a tiny CRT in it. Take out all the wires and motherboards then use the little cabinets built into it as console holders. They cabinets were used to protect or hold in the arcade parts.
beautiful machine, master. I have a 29" crt tv and I want to build a machine just like yours. I am worried about the tv because it is very heavy. I would like to know the thickness of the wood you used. Thank you.
Nice
wow, amazing video, your kids are probably all grown now. crazy you shot and recorded this back in 2011. impressive!
Do you have a part list?
give us the plans plz!!
bad ass build bro
Nice one man. Thanks for sharing ☮️
The wood. OMFG I LOVE THE WOOD. This is almost exactly the kind of thing I want to setup. I wish I had the space, tools, knowledge to start cutting.
I have been building and learning this computer for weeks and wondering how I was going to build this cabinet.. I might not I sent the Vidio to a nieces husband who builds yard furniture all day.. He asked for wood and measurements. Thank you.. I had no idea how to don't be keyboard and controlles in it . I only wish you would have sent the parts supply you used. There's alot out there but alot of junk also... Good job my friend, Thank you
should have painted it. nice job!
I must ask. 1. How is the machine holding up now days? 2. do you and the kids still play on it ?
What's up with the retro gaming scene? There are bunch of people complaining about their wives/girlfriends. Maybe you shouldn't marry a lame person.
Good jobs👍
I'm building in 2021.. thanks for this beautiful video.. ;) cheers..
What is the arcade joystick model you use. I used to see it often in arcades when I was a kid, but I can't find it now
Does he need his wife's approval to go play outside too?
Nice
I love building arcade cabs. I’ve never gone the natural route as I love the old full authentic look.
Im not really into this style arcade cabinet but I must admit it does look quite nice
And built it with the CRT too. Came out very good.
Sorry but using computers to run mame files just isn’t the same…show them kids the inner workings of a original arcade game.. maybe they will have the talents to repair them instead of just swapping out a bad hard drive when it crashes.. pass the torch…
Do you still have the plans for this cabinet? Would you share them?
I made a ghetto one
finally a build not using these professional heavy duty machines that mere mortals don't/can't afford
Well done. That's exactly what I looking for. To have a good time with my family and friends playing old classic games. Congrats!
wow!! i just realised this is a 2011 video, it looks cool, CRT, no raspberries, the only thing I missed was a smoked glass on the screen
хорошая установка для уничтожения зрения! с полуметра лупиться в экран то... я от своего сони тринитрон 21 дюймового сижу в двух метрах, и то глаза устают от такой сетки
Nice
Your children are very lucky to have a dad like you
I’m 9 years late but this is awesome. Been looking for a way to incorporate a crt for my own cabinet build!
Do you still have it?
Did you rgb mod your crt?
Would be fantastis to have acces to the blue prints of this arcade cabinet. Is there a way we can fint it ? Thank you.
